This guide provides patient organisations and patient representatives with the information and tools necessary for them to develop meaningiful partnerships with other stakeholders involved in clinical research.
The guide explains the clinical trial process, the stages of research in which patients can get involved as well as the different types of involvement. The guide also covers how to find clinical trials and who to get involved with. A set of ethical principles was also included however these have been revised and amended. The final version is accessible here.
The guide also covers different areas of research such as Biobanking, Registries and Paediatric research.
